Support for expanding the sales opportunities of SMBs underway 29.08.23

In the first half of 2023, some 50 micro, small and medium business entities benefited from support mechanisms for access to trade networks and involvement in exhibitions.

From January to June 2023, nearly 50 micro, small and medium business entities benefited from the support mechanisms for expanding the sales opportunities of SMBs provided by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

At this period, the Agency received 121 applications from SMBs regarding the use of support for engagement in exhibitions. Of which, 38 SMBs that met the relevant requirements were able to take part in 4 exhibitions held in Azerbaijan and abroad (3 domestic, 1 overseas) free of charge. SMBs seeking to promote their products and services and expand their sales opportunities by engaging in specialized exhibitions and fairs held with the support and organization of KOBİA in Azerbaijan and abroad are encouraged to apply to KOBİA by filling out the relevant online application form. During the period from January to June this year, the Agency received 38 applications from SMBs to benefit from state support mechanism for access to trade networks, of which support for 6 SMBs in compliance with relevant regulations was provided. During this period, the number of sales points under the support mechanism for access to trade networks was increased to 6. Micro and small business entities can apply to KOBİA to organize the sale of their products in "Bravo" hypermarket, "Bolmart" supermarket, "Bizim market", "Sharg Bazaar" Shopping Center and other trade networks under auspicious conditions.
