SMB Model Enterprise

The model SMB is a space that allows to visually observe real business processes from initial planning to establishment of an enterprise.

The model enterprise operating on the basis of concept "vision, hearing, and execution", is equipped with necessary equipment that allows visual perception of functioning modern technological equipment and the application of theoretical knowledge in the production process.

The enterprise established by Small and Medium Business Development Agency
(KOBİA) through studying international practice operate within Azerbaijan Technical University.

Enterprises intending to use services of SMB model shall meet the following requirements:

- The SMB entity shall be engaged in manufacturing.

- There must be a willingness within the production and management sectors to acquire and apply modern knowledge.

In addition to entrepreneurs, the trainings held by the Model Enterprise are to be attended by the students studying in the relevant specialties and teachers who teach these subjects.

The entrepreneurs gain contemporary insights into cost-effective production, efficient resource and raw material utilization, proper storage of finished products, optimization of production processes and time, equitable distribution of labor in the production process, as well as entrepreneurs enhance their competitiveness skills by acquiring modern knowledge and apply them in their enterprises through training program of the SMB Model Enterprise.

- Poka-Yoke, Jidoka

The entrepreneurs intending to leverage opportunities of the SMB Model Enterprise are encouraged to apply directly to KOBİA (the section "Direct application to the Agency" of (info@smb.gov.az or www.smb.gov.az ), as well as via social media accounts of the model enterprise. Applications received by the agency will be added to the appropriate database, and entrepreneurs who meet the requirements will be trained in stages in accordance with the training program.
