By becoming a participant of an SME cluster company, entrepreneurs may obtain opportunities such as tax incentives, new cooperation and access to markets.

The SME cluster companies "Frutena", "Naturaoil" and "Healthtech Solutions", which have received the "SME Cluster Certificate", have already united around themselves more than 20 micro, small and medium business entities operating in various fields.

Activities aimed at attracting new participants to SME cluster companies are being continued. Specialised SME entities operating in the fields of production of apple and pomegranate products, plastics and raw-material products made from them, various types of packaging products, and laboratory quality-control services may apply to the relevant SME cluster company in order to become a participant of the SME cluster, and also to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) for coordination support. Applications are accepted via the e-mail address of KOBİA info@smb.gov.az  or through the official internet page (https://smb.gov.az/az/contact-form/aze-citizen).

SME entities that are legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, by becoming participants of the SME cluster, may benefit from the following advantages:

exemption for a period of 7 years from profit (income) tax in respect of the part of profit or income obtained from goods supplied on the basis of a contract concluded with the SME cluster company, which is directed to business development and spent on capital expenditures;

establishment of long-term cooperation relations by joining the production and supply chain of the SME cluster company;

expansion of new market opportunities for products and services;

increase of competitiveness;

improvement of the quality of products and services;

obtaining new opportunities for increasing sales and production volumes.
