During the meeting with entrepreneurs, discussions were held on the establishment of agricultural machinery repair points, subsidies, land use conversion, export, supply points and sales, access to utility services, leasing, and other related issues.

A meeting with entrepreneurs was held in Gusar region. About 100 entrepreneurs operating in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, retail, and public catering participated in the meeting, organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and supported by the Gusar Region Executive Power.

The head of the Gusar Region Executive Power-Sahir Mammadkhanov, Member of Parliament-Azar Badamov and Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency- Orkhan Mammadov, shared their views on state support for the development of entrepreneurial activity, the realization of the business potential of the region by using these support tools, as well as opportunities for entrepreneurial activity in the region.

It was noted that the economy of the Gusar region is mainly based on horticulture and tourism. In order to create added value in intensive horticulture, on-site processing of agricultural products can both increase income and create new jobs. The nature and existing infrastructure of the region create broad opportunities for tourism. In this regard, it is important to make maximum use of the tourism potential of Gusar and offer innovative services in this field. Entrepreneurs' preference for joint activities, pooling their resources and exchanging experiences can accelerate the development of local entrepreneurship. It would be useful to give priority to the use of digital tools related to business activities and projects based on market research. It was noted that entrepreneurs can contact the SMB Friend offices to obtain detailed information about government support tools for starting and expanding a business, recent innovations in this field, and the region's business and investment potential.

During the event, discussions were held with entrepreneurs on issues such as the establishment of agricultural machinery repair stations, subsidies, land use conversion, export, procurement points and sales, connection to utility services, leasing, etc., and questions from business entities were answered.

Also, KOBIA representatives visited the PVC door-window and metal construction production workshops and sales point of “Monolit Construction” LLC operating in Gusar region, and exchanged views with the entrepreneur on business development. It should be noted that the enterprise has used KOBIA's legal assistance, coordination with foreign and local entrepreneurs, and training services at various times.
