Entrepreneurs who have utilized the capabilities of the SMB model enterprise reap rewards in their production processes.

Since March of this year, 61 entreprises have already benefited from the opportunities of the SMB Model Enterprise operating at Azerbaijan Technical University as part of continuous efforts to improve business knowledge and skills.

The skills and techniques obtained during the training workshops provided by the model company have been put into practice to achieve positive outcomes in the manufacturing process, such as higher efficiency, time management, and cost reduction.

As it is, businesses tjat attended training sessions at the SMB Model Enterprise, like "Caspian Textile" LLC, "GillMed" LLC, "GrandTek" LLC, "Absheron-Saffron" LLC, among others, successfully cut time loss in different production stages and avoided waste in production and post-production.

The SMB Model Enterprise was established by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). Engineers and technical staff of SMBs who benefited from the training opportunities of the model enterprise are enhancing their skills in increasing productivity, saving time and costs, etc., through applicaiton of the knowledge gained during training and practice in their companies.

Here, it is possible to visually observe the real business process, from initial planning to the establishment of the enterprise. Trainers of the SMB Model Enterprise teach and test strategies and models such as "Kaizen," "Six Sigma," "5S," "KRI-KAI," and others.

Industrial production businesses have the option to utilize the services provided by the model enterprise.

Entrepreneurs can apply through KOBİA or the model enterprise's social media accounts.

The Agency places received applications into the appropriate database and slowly enrolls qualifying entrepreneurs in training programs.

Alongside entrepreneurs, students specializing in relevant fields and teachers who teach these subjects can also participate in the training sessions conducted by the SMB Model Enterprise.

All services offered to entrepreneurs by the SMB Model Enterprise are provided at no cost.

It is important to mention that small and medium-sized businesses and individuals interested in lauching their own businesses can also take advantage of KOBİA's complimentary training sessions, consulting services, assistance with business plan development, and support for enrolling in international training programs.
