An event dedicated to International Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME) Day took place in Geneva 27.06.24

At the event, KOBİA presented information about the support measures and objectives outlined for SMBs in Azerbaijan.

An event commemorating International Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME) Day, held on June 27, was organized by the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event, attended by international organizations, officials from various countries, and experts, provided information on the contributions of SMBs to sustainable economic development, employment, and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as addressed the potential of SMBs, the challenges they face, their development needs, and discussed innovations in the relevant sector.

The video message from the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Mr. Orkhan Mammadov was also presented at the event.

In the video message, the chairman of Management KOBIA informed about the support for MSMBs in Azerbaijan and the agency's activities in this area, including the tools for MSMB support in accessing knowledge and skills, markets, and finance.

KOBİA was represented at the event by authorized representatives of the agency.
