Uzbekistan to express interest in SMB houses and SMB development centers 27.10.21

On October 27, the chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov met with the head of the Center for Economic Analysis and Reforms under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan Obid Hakimov.

At the meeting, arranged as part of the Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit, information was provided on the Agency’s support and services to entrepreneurs. The Uzbek delegation paid special attention to the activities of Small and Medium Business houses (SMB houses) and SMB development centers (SMBDCs) and expressed interest in studying the SMBDA’s experience in this area.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest and prospects for collaboration.
