“Türkiye–Azerbaijan Trade Delegation and B2B Meetings” event was held

The “Türkiye–Azerbaijan Trade Delegation and B2B Meetings” event was held in Baku with the coordination of the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye, the organization of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), and the partnership of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO.

The purpose of the event is to support the establishment of direct contacts between businesspeople, facilitate the formation of new partnerships, and promote the increase of mutual trade turnover.

In their speeches at the event, TIM President Mustafa Gultepe, Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, Advisor to the Executive Director of AZPROMO Shabnam Allahverdiyeva, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye in Azerbaijan Birol Akgun shared their views on the opportunities for further expanding the strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the economic sphere, formed on the principle of “One nation, two states,” as well as on the existing economic and trade relations. It was noted that every new connection established between business entities, as well as the development of existing cooperation, creates a solid foundation for long-term and sustainable economic and trade relations.

Within the framework of the event, bilateral meetings between business representatives were also held. During the B2B meetings, companies representing various sectors delivered presentations on their products and services and discussed potential partnership opportunities.

As part of the Turkish delegation’s visit to Baku, visits to local companies and institutions, as well as market research activities, are also planned. The purpose of these activities is to assess the opportunities of the Azerbaijani market on-site and to identify specific cooperation mechanisms.
