ANNOUNCES COMPETITION

for entrepreneurs and managers who wish to participate in the virtual Advanced Training Course on Economic Cooperation to be organized by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and relevant training centers in 2021 within the framework of German-Azerbaijani joint program to improve skills of managers in Azerbaijan's business community

The purpose of the Program is to support business entities of Azerbaijan in taking virtual advanced training courses, studying international experience, training and professional development of managers in the field of Business, establishment of direct economic relations with German companies (Information for applicants and participants).

About the course

Topic: Economic Cooperation

Language of instruction: English

Requirements for candidates:

Higher education (Bachelor's or Master's degree);

Minimum 1 year of work experience in the field of Management;

Not exceeding 45 years of age;

Good command of English;

High communication and presentation skills

The competition process

Candidates meeting the relevant requirements will be invited to the competition stage. An online competition on the selection of candidates will be held with the participation of GIZ specialists.

The course consists of the following stages:

Training sessions: Gaining practical Management skills.

Internship program: Opportunity of internship in an online format with German companies, establishment of working relations.

The advanced training course is free of charge and the participants who have successfully completed the course will be awarded a certificate.

Application rules: Candidates who wish to participate in the program must submit the following electronic documents in English to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) by sending an e-mail to training@smb.gov.az (with "Advanced training course in Germany" in Subject):

- Application Form;

- Data protection declaration / Privacy statement;

- A certificate approved by the Chief of the workplace, indicating the position of the employee on the consent to participate in the Program;

- Cooperation project items from 1 to 5 must be fully answered;

- A color 3x4 photo;

- Insurance Form signed by the candidate;

- Copy of the foreign passport (only the page containing personal data).

Note: The participants who will successfully complete the advanced training course in accordance with the current pandemic conditions are also expected to visit Germany.
