Those willing to join the self-employment program can benefit from SMBDA support

Citizens willing to join the self-employment program can benefit from the support provided by the Agency for Small and Medium Business Development (SMBDA).

They can contact SMB Friends working in Baku and regions of the country through electronic platforms and Territorial Employment Centers.

About 300 citizens received support from SMB Friends so far. They were provided information on the relevant rules and necessary documents for participation in the program, coordination with the Territorial Employment Centers, technical support for registration in the electronic system.

SMBDA actively participates in the organization of training for citizens who joined the program and supervises the facilities of farmers and the transfer of assets (goods, materials, and other property) to those who are qualified for the program and who completed the self-employment program. The graduates of the program benefit from the support and services of SMBDA to expand their entrepreneurial activities in the next stages.

Since the self-employment program creates favorable conditions for those who want to start a micro and small business, from 2019, there will be cooperation between SMBDA and the State Agency for Employment and Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
