The management of KOBİA visited the fruit drying plant 04.10.22

On October 4, the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov and the representatives of the Agency got acquainted with the activities of the new production facility of "Crispa Snacks" LLC located in Darnagul.

It was reported that "Crispa Snacks" LLC had been operating since 2018. The enterprise produces 7 types of different apple products under the "Crispa" brand. Besides, production of dried pears, plums, dates, strawberries and peaches will be started. In this regard, the enterprise plans to increase the range of products to 15 in the future. The capacity of the enterprise's equipment enables to chop and dry 2 tons of fruit per hour. At the same time, natural apple vinegar, apple jam and apple behmez are produced by the enterprise as side products. In addition to the "Crispa" brand, the company also packs and sells 8 varieties under the "LabuLab" brand. The enterprise has national and "ISO 22000:2018" International Food Safety standard. "Crispa Snacks" LLC products are currently exported to Russia and Poland, along with the local market. Negotiations regarding export are underway with Arab and European countries. At present, about 30 employees work in the enterprise. "Crispa Snacks" LLC benefited from various support and services of KOBİA.

Representatives of KOBİA and the management of the factory discussed the sector's growth potential while getting to know the business's activities. Suggestions and ideas were also addressed.
