The agricultural sector entrepreneurs have been informed of the SMBDA’s support and services 13.09.21

Participants of the fair sale of seeds, held in Khachmaz on September 13, were informed of the support and services provided to entrepreneurs by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA).

At the fair, arranged in front of the Agency's Khachmaz SMB house, the participants were provided with detailed information on mechanisms such as the SMB friend, the SMB house, and the SMB Development Center. It was noted that about 20 state and private agencies provide entrepreneurs with about 200 services in the Khachmaz SMB house. The Khachmaz SMB Development Center provides entrepreneurs with free training and consulting services both in the center and on farms. Entrepreneurs wishing to create and develop their businesses may contact the SMB friends to make use of the state support mechanisms, including the services provided by the Agency to protect the entrepreneurs’ interests. During the fair, entrepreneurs were also informed on the SMBDA’s internal marketing surveys, funding educational, scientific, research, and support projects, the “Startup” certificate, and the online trade portal kobmarket.az.

At the fair, the Agency’s “SME Volunteers” distributed various brochures with information on the SMBDA activities to the participants.

Note that farmers from Khachmaz and surrounding areas, local seed producers, research institutes, and companies engaged in the production and sale of seeds attended the fair sale of seeds, arranged by the Agro Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Seed Fund. The fair was aimed at aiding in forming the local seed market, meeting the demand for local seeds before the fall sowing, and establish direct ties between seed producers and farmers.
