SMB volunteers came second in ASAN Innovative Solutions Hackathon "Hand in hand for Karabakh"

ASAN Innovative Solutions Hackathon "Hand-in-hand for Karabakh" dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day was organized among Azerbaijani volunteers.


The event, jointly organized by Union of Azerbaijan Voluntary Organizations and ASAN Volunteers Organization, was organized with the aim of revealing new ideas and solutions of volunteers and young people on the reconstruction of Karabakh and bringing them together.


60 volunteers representing 15 volunteer and youth organizations, including SMB volunteers of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) took part in the hackathon.


As part of the hackathon, volunteers learned more about the activities of a number of centers, attended panel meetings and trainings held by the experts in the relevant field.


Volunteers also took part in the idea competition for the reconstruction of Karabakh. The "Karabakh horse" project of SMB volunteers won 2nd place in the competition. The project specifies the development of a mobile application containing 3 components to support the promotion of Karabakh horses, self-employment and the sale of local products.


The winner of the competition was SOCAR volunteers, while RIIB volunteers came third. The winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes, and training packages.
