Representatives of the Organization of Turkic States Visited the “Baku SME House”

As part of the 2nd Meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Baku under the organization of the Ministry of Economy, the visiting delegation became acquainted with the activities of the “Baku SME House.”

Representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the “Baku SME House” provided the guests with information about the SME House concept and its advantages. It was noted that services rendered to business entities by public and private institutions are delivered within SME Houses in a unified space and in a coordinated manner. The SME House model is among the innovative approaches in the provision of services to businesses.

In 2024, the SME House model of Azerbaijan was assessed by the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation as an advanced innovative practice and exemplary model, and its application was recommended to the member countries of the organization. Several cooperation documents have already been signed with various countries regarding the implementation of this model.

During the familiarization visit to the SME House, the guests’ questions were also addressed.
