Online meeting with organic product manufacturers has been held 18.05.21

An online meeting has been held to study the current situation in the manufacture of organic products. The event arranged by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership platform was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Economy, Environment and Natural Resources, and Agriculture, the Food Safety Agency, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), associations of Organic Producers and Exporters, Azerbaijan Hazelnut Producers and Exporters, Beekeepers, Azerbaijan Milk and Dairy Products Producers and Exporters, and Ganja Agribusiness, and about 60 business entities.

At the meeting, the issues of manufacturing organic products in our country, standards in this area, developing a mechanism for promoting the manufacture of organic products, and the export of such products to foreign markets have been discussed and proposals heard.

Representatives of relevant agencies participating in the meeting answered the entrepreneurs’ questions.
