Meeting with entrepreneurs held in Masalli

A meeting was held with entrepreneurs with limited opportunities of health in Masalli with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

The meeting was held at Masalli Social Entrepreneurship and Employment Center with the engagement of about 30 people and entrepreneurs with limited opportunities of health and those from socially vulnerable categories, as well as representatives of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, " Organization of Disabled Entrepreneurs" Public Union and Masalli District Executive Power.

At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the integration of people from socially vulnerable and disabled groups into society, boosting their business-oriented knowledge and skills, promoting business initiatives, and supporting their access to the labour market. At the same time, participants of the training were informed on projects implemented in the field of entrepreneurship, state support measures, application rules for the self-employment program, vocational education, funding of business projects, and in the end their suggestions were heard.

Subsequently, certificates were presented to 16 graduates  who have successfully completed the training within the framework of the "Support for entrepreneurs with disabilities" project implemented within the framework of the cooperation of KOBİA, the Azerbaijan State Employment Agency, the Agency for Sustainable and Operative Social Security (DOST Agency), "Azersu" OJSC and other partners. It was noted that project stakeholders took part in professional training held by Masalli Social Entrepreneurship and Employment Center and acquired relevant professional knowledge. Currently, within the framework of the project, vocational training for 41 people in the fields of tailoring, carpet weaving, repair of electrical equipment, welding, photo and video operators is underway.
