On May 31, the next meeting of the Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings on "Corporate management, investment, protection of the investors' interests, business ethics and corporate social responsibility" was held.


In an online meeting representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministries of Economy, Justice, Ecology and Natural Resources, Energy, Digital Development and Transport, the Central Bank, the State Statistical Committee, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, the State Oil Company, the Constitution Researches Fund and a number of companies attended.


The head of the Working Wroup, chairman of the board of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov noted that the Working Wroup's Action Plan for 2022 had been approved. It was noted that the action plan for 2022 is quite comprehensive in terms of content and includes important points and specific issues covered in the evaluation process of international rankings. This year's action plan also includes a number of new elements in the areas of corporate management, environment, social responsibility, economical production, etc. Taking into account the new issues, the composition of the working group has also been expanded.


The meeting heard reports on the implementation of the tasks given at the previous meeting of the Working Group and the issues decided, as well as exchanged views on the main elements of the Action Plan for 2022 and the tasks ahead. At the same time, instructions and recommendations were given on the effective organization of activities envisaged in the Action Plan, the active involvement of the private sector and associations in the implementation process.
