Meeting Between Entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and Vietnam Held

Documents were signed between organizations and companies from Azerbaijan and Vietnam.

Representatives of the Vietnam National Entrepreneurship Association (VINEN) and about 20 Vietnamese businesspeople are visiting Azerbaijan. As part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and VINEN, a meeting was held at the "Baku SMB House" to expand cooperation between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese entrepreneurs and to support the development of trade and investment relations.

The meeting, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Vietnam and KOBİA, was attended by entrepreneurs from both countries, as well as representatives of local business associations.

Speeches were delivered by Shovgi Mehdi-zadeh, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Vietnam; Rufat Atakishiev, Deputy Chairman of KOBİA; Ms. Trinh Thi Thu Ha, VINEN representative; Shabnam Allahverdieva, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency – AZPROMO; and Emin Dostiari, Chairman of the Association of Food and Beverage Producers of Azerbaijan (AQİSA). 

The speeches provided information on cooperation perspectives in various fields, development of economic and trade relations between the countries, business and investment climate, and opportunities for implementing joint projects. 

As part of the event, memorandums of understanding were signed between VINEN and AQİSA, “Canet” LLC, and the Vietnam Chefs Association. Discussions were also held to establish direct connections between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese businesspeople.
