KOBİA represented at the 4th Conference of Pharmacists 05.10.23

The current situation in the field, industry development prospects and business opportunities were discussed at the conference of pharmacists of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The 4th Conference of Pharmacists was held. Organized by the "Pharmacists Club" Public Union, the event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The state, development prospects and challenges of the pharmaceutical industry were discussed at the conference held with the attendance of relevant state institutions, representatives of the Milli Majlis and companies operating in the pharmaceutical sector.

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) informed about support of the Agency to business entities operating in the pharmaceutical industry at the event. It was emphasized that business entities operating in pharmaceutical field are encouraged to benefit from a number of support and services provided by KOBİA. SMB development centers, SMB houses and SMB Friend network of the Agency covering different regions are infrastructures providing services to entrepreneurs at all stages of business development and supporting the realization of their initiatives. Business entities operating in the pharmaceutical field are also encouraged to benefit from support tools in the directions of internal market research, financing of education, science, research and support projects, getting "Startup" certificate, participation in exhibitions, and formation of clusters provided by KOBİA.

Panel discussions were held on the topics of "E-prescribing, price policy" and "Development of business on local production of pharmaceuticals" and event stakeholders got acquainted with the exhibition of pharmaceutical products within the scope of the conference.
