KOBİA representatives visit the United Arab Emirates and Qatar 21.02.24

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between KOBİA and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Azerbaijan Trade Houses in Dubai and Doha were visited.

As part of a business trip to Qatar, representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) held a number of meetings in Doha. At the meeting held between Orkhan Mammadov, Chairperson of the Board of KOBİA, and Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar, first vice-president of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, various insights on the matter were shared on the operations performed by the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council, joint initiatives and measures to expand cooperation between business circles.

KOBİA representatives also paid a visit to the Trade House in Doha and had a conversation with the employees of the center about sales, export and the operations of the trade house.

As part of the visit to the United Arab Emirates, KOBİA representatives paid a visit to "Gulfood 2024" - the 29th International Food, Beverage and HoReCa Industry Exhibition held in Dubai. During the acquaintance with the exhibition, KOBİA representatives also visited the national stand "Made in Azerbaijan". With the support of the Ministry of Economy and the organization of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, the products of over 20 Azerbaijani companies are showcased at the national stand "Made in Azerbaijan". Furthermore, KOBİA and AZPROMO are represented at the stand, visitors are informed about the support rendered to entrepreneurs, the auspicious business and investment climate established in our country, and relevant printed materials are presented as well.

During the visit, KOBİA representatives also visited the Azerbaijan Trade House in Dubai and took an interest in the sale of our products, as well as the needs of the trade house.
