The Chairman of KOBİA conveyed information on cooperation of the Agency with entrepreneurs in the field of consumer rights protection at the forum.

Forum on "Heydar Aliyev's role in forming an environment of free competition and ensuring protection of consumer rights" was held under the organization of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control.

Speaking at the event held with the attendance of representatives of Milli Majlis, state institutions, and higher education institutions, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), shared his opinions about the unique services of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of a free competitive environment and ensuring the protection of consumer rights and the cooperation of Agency with entrepreneurs on consumer rights. The policy on forming a free competition environment and protection of consumer rights in our country, founded by a national leader, is currently being successfully further pursued by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev always paid great attention to the development of level playing field and entrepreneurship and directly linked the socio-economic growth of our republic with a free competition environment and entrepreneurship. Today, entrepreneurs have become the leading force of a competitive economy as a result of flexible and pragmatic economic policy by the head of state. The Chairman of KOBİA emphasized the significance of expanding relations of entrepreneurs with other stakeholders on the protection of consumer rights and informed about the work of the Agency with entrepreneurs in this direction, as well as educational measures.

Subsequently, a panel discussion was held. Natig Hasanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of KOBİA shared his views at the panel dedicated to "The role of business entities in the system of consumer rights protection in Azerbaijan", and addressed the questions from event stakeholders.
