Entrepreneurs' requests have resulted in the completion of 19 internal market research, and the findings have thus far been shared with commercial organisations. In addition to market research requested by business owners, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) also conducts internal market research on its own initiative. There have already been 25 of these internal market studies, and the findings have been released on the KOBİA website (https://smb.gov.az/az/nav/dakhili-bazar-arasdirmasi).


Internal market research is currently being carried out in numerous directions at the request of business owners and the initiative of KOBİA, and the findings will be presented as appropriate.


It should be noted that KOBİA provides information and financial support to micro, small and medium business entities for conducting internal market research. According to the "Rule on providing state support to internal market research for the purpose of stimulating the competitive production of micro, small, and medium-sized business entities," which was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 29, 2019, each internal market research conducted based on the application of a micro business entity will be reimbursed 80% of the cost, and 50% of the cost of the investigation conducted at the request of a small business will be covered by the government. In general, a support amount of up to 20,000 manats is provided for SMEs for conducting each internal market research.
