First event within the scope of the "Development of Regional Partners" project held in Khachmaz 01.03.24

At the event, entrepreneurs operating in the Guba-Khachmaz economic region were informed about access to financial resources, current state support mechanisms in this area, and their questions were addressed.

The project "Development of regional partners" also be carried out in 2024 to inform entrepreneurs operating in the areas about access to financial resources and state support mechanisms available in this field.

The project aims to inform business entities and people seeking to start a new business about the state support measures for financing entrepreneurship, as well as to expand business relations between businesspersons from the capital and regions. The project has been implemented since 2022.

The next event within the "Development of Regional Partners" project was held on March 1 in Khachmaz district. More than 200 entrepreneurs from Baku city and Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar and Siyazan, which are part of the Guba-Khachmaz economic region, as well as representatives of relevant state institutions took part at the event organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and "Marsol Group" held at the "Khachmaz SMB House".

Speaking at the event, Elnur Rzayev, Head of the Executive Power of Khachmaz District, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairperson of the Board of KOBİA, Osman Khaliyev, Chairperson of the Management Board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, Seymur Movlayev, Chairperson of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, Nihad Mukhtarli, Deputy Chairperson of the Managing Board of the State Employment Agency, and MP Sevil Mikayilova gave details on the support and services provided to business owners, including state concessional loans, subsidies, innovations in business financing, alternative financing tools, the role of the self-employment program in starting entrepreneurship, the production and processing of agricultural products, and the services provided to producers.

Tural Mustafayev, Director of "Marsol Group" and Chairperson of the Board of "National Association of Businessmen's Society" Public Union, Farid Hidayatzade, member of the Board of Directors of "Kapital Bank" OJSC, and Samir Alizade, founder of "Maricel Real Estate" discussed the operations of their companies, their collaboration with state agencies in the field of entrepreneurship, and the utilization of current support mechanisms.

As part of the event, a panel discussion was held on "Access opportunities for regional entrepreneurs to financial channels and state support mechanisms". The representatives of KOBİA, Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, Entrepreneurship Development Fund, State Employment Agency, "Sirab" LLC and "Kapital Bank" who took part in the discussions conveyed information on the topic, listened to the proposals of entrepreneurs and addressed their questions.
