Entrepreneurs should prefer to work with professionals

An event on "Challenges and prospects in the labor market of Azerbaijan" was organized by the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication and the World Bank on January 19.


At the event organized with the participation of relevant government agencies, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov spoke about the role of entrepreneurship in employment, targets for strengthening business human resources and the work done by the Agency. It was noted that the growing role of entrepreneurship in the country's economy plays an important role in ensuring social protection and employment. The development of human capital, to ensure that everyone acquires modern knowledge and skills in accordance with the requirements of the labor market is one of the tasks ahead.  Professionals with high knowledge and skills are the basis of the country's intellectual potential, and the value they create can be considered an important indicator of economic development. The implementation of the tasks arising from these challenges and meeting the existing needs is one of the activities of SMBDA. The agency is interested in the implementation of business initiatives of citizens, strengthening the human resources of SMEs, their acquisition of knowledge and skills that meet modern requirements, and training young people in accordance with the labor market. In this regard, for the establishment and development of business, SMBDA organizes trainings for entrepreneurs in accordance with modern challenges, provides practical consulting services and other support, implements projects that contribute to employment and realization of human resources.
