On 9 December 2025 at 10:00, public hearings and discussions will be held at the Baku SME House on the draft technical regulations prepared by relevant state institutions. The event is jointly organized by the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).
The public hearings will cover the draft technical regulations including “On the Safety of Equipment Used in Explosive Environments”, “On the Safety of Explosive Substances and Goods Manufactured on the Basis Thereof”, “On the Safety of Equipment Operating Under Excess Pressure”, “On Requirements for Fire Protection and Firefighting Equipment”, “On the Safety of Products Intended for Civil Defense and for the Protection of the Population and Territories from Natural and Technogenic Emergencies”, “On the Safety of Pyrotechnic Products”, “On the Safety of Personal Protective Equipment”.

The discussions will be conducted in accordance with legislation, with the purpose of obtaining opinions and proposals regarding the draft technical regulations, encouraging the active involvement of stakeholders in the drafting process, and informing the public about the requirements envisioned by the technical regulations and the positive outcomes of their implementation.
During the public hearings, feedback, comments, and proposals submitted by interested parties will be analyzed in line with legislative requirements. It is planned that, after coordination with relevant institutions, the finalized drafts will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for approval.
