Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev held in Astrakhan province 08.05.23

At the conference on "Trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation: current state and prospects", information was conveyed on the avenues of cooperation between our countries in the field of supporting small and medium businesses.

As part of the visit to the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation, the Azerbaijani delegation attended a conference marking the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev: "Trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation: current state and prospects".

At the event attended by officials and businesspersons from both countries took part in the event, the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), Mr. Orkhan Mammadov, delivered on the unprecedented achievements of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the restoration and development of entrepreneurial traditions in our country, and pointed out the fact that this policy is currently being successfully continued by the incumbent President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

The chairman of KOBİA, who gave information on the opportunities for cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region in supporting small and medium businesses, the support and services of the Agency, also stated that the Agency can render support to connect Russian entrepreneurs with local business partners. Exchange of information on potential investment projects, establishment of joint ventures in prospective fields, mutual participation in exhibitions to establish direct contact between businesspersons, organization of business missions, continuous development of institutional cooperation will be of great importance to expand relations between SMB entities of both countries.
