SMBDA continues to meet with entrepreneurs who suffered from the Armenian military provocation

As a result of the military provocation of the Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijan, businesses operating in Fizuli, Beylagan, and Agjabadi regions also suffered losses.

To get acquainted with the damage caused to the households and business facilities of entrepreneurs on site, to study their needs, as well as the necessary and urgent obligations (loans, tax, etc.), Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy, responsible employees of the Agency and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy visited Horadiz district of Fuzuli city and Beylagan district on October 16.

During the meetings with entrepreneurs from Fuzuli, Beylagan, and Agjabadi districts, it was noted that measures are being taken by SMBDA to collect and process relevant information on the damage and, if possible, to conduct on-site assessment of the damage caused by Armenia. So far, SMBDA has been informed of about 180 entrepreneurs, who suffered big losses as a result of Armenian provocations. Preliminary analysis of applications shows that entrepreneurs working in Agdam, Ganja, Fuzuli, Tartar, Beylagan, Naftalan, Barda, Jabrayil (Jojug Marjanli), and Agjabadi districts suffered from the Armenian provocation more. Arable lands, public catering facilities, as well as livestock farms and commercial facilities were damaged more. Furthermore, since the Armenian armed forces fired on the civilian inhabited residential areas, some farmers are currently unable to harvest their crops.

The entrepreneurs who participated in the meeting said that despite the damage caused to them by the Armenian military provocations, they were in a high mood thanks to the victories of the glorious Azerbaijani army and that the State always stands by entrepreneurs.

It should be noted that to assess the damage caused to business entities as a result of the Armenian provocation, representatives of SMBDA will visit other cities and regions as well.
