Another support mechanism of KOBİA has been launched at the Eastern Bazaar complex visited by President Ilham Aliyev

On June 6, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated the “Eastern Market” complex after restoration and reconstruction. A store selling products of micro and small entrepreneurs has also been launched in the complex as part of a mechanism to support SMEs' access to trade networks.

The store sells products of 10 micro and small businesses within the support provided by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). It sells non-food products, as well as handicrafts by artisans and creative people.

Today, the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov met with entrepreneurs who benefited from the mechanism to support access to trade networks, and exchanged views on business development and support mechanisms. Entrepreneurs thanked for the state support.

As part of the mechanism to support access to trade networks, it is planned to organize similar outlets in other trade facilities in Baku, and currently applications from entrepreneurs in this area are being evaluated.

It should be noted that micro and small businesses wishing to take advantage of the Agency's support mechanisms for sales and access to markets can apply to KOBİA electronically.
