An online event was held, dedicated to the production of building materials, obtaining construction permits, and connecting to utilities 16.03.21

On March 16, as part of the state-business cooperation platform, a regular online meeting was held on the topic ‘Production of Building Materials, Obtaining Construction Permits, and Connecting to Utilities.’

The event arranged by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) was attended by representatives of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, the State Agency for the Use of Mineral and Raw Material Resources under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, the State Agency for Control over Construction Safety under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Azerishig OJSC, Azersu OJSC, and the Association of Sand, Gravel, and Stone Producers, and businessmen.

The Chairman of the SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov reported on the applications for construction and connection to utilities, received by the Agency, and the surveys and meetings performed among businessmen, stressing that the survey results were submitted to the relevant state agencies, and the problems of entrepreneurs were resolved as part of the state-business cooperation platform.

At the event, the Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for the Use of Mineral and Raw Material Resources under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Samir Gurbanov, Head of Department of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy Ramazan Aliyev, Advisor to the Chairman of Azerishig OJSC Elsevar Rustamli, Deputy Head of the Main Department for Architecture and Urban Planning of Baku under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Azer Mammadov reported the reforms and innovations in the production of building materials, issuance of construction and operation permits, connection to utilities, and the electronification of services, and answered the businessmen’s questions.

As part of the online meeting, the presentation of the "Single Window" system simplifying obtaining permits for construction and operation was also made.
