A conference on “Maintaining peace in the region: restoration of Karabakh” has been performed within the framework of the Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit to be held in Baku on October 27-29, jointly arranged by the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy.

The event, arranged at the Baku State University by the Eurasian Regional Center of the OIC Youth Forum, was attended by 30 young people from 6 countries.

Speaking at the conference, acting director-general of the Eurasian Regional Center of the OIC Youth Forum Vusal Gurbanov and director of the Youth Policy, training, and education department of the OIC Youth Forum Tughba Jeren Cherchi have noted that the event will become an important platform where young people can share their knowledge in the appropriate field and improve their diplomatic skills.

At the conference simulating the work of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC countries, young people shared their views on sustainable peace in the Karabakh region, the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation, “smart city” and “smart” village projects implemented in these territories, and the participation of the OIC member countries in the restoration of Karabakh.

5 young people distinguished by their knowledge and skills will take part in the Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit.
