A roundtable was conducted in Doha with the participation of Azerbaijani and Qatari businesspeople 21.10.24

A roundtable attended by more than 60 business entities from Azerbaijan and Qatar was conducted to discuss future cooperation opportunities in the business sector.

Organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with support from "Marsol Group" and the National Association of Businessmen's Society (ICMA), the event took place in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and was attended by businesspeople from Azerbaijan and Qatar.

More than 60 businesspeople operating in sectors such as manufacturing, tourism, services, ICT, and others from both Azerbaijan and Qatar participated in the event.

Making a speech in the roundtable, Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba, Deputy Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mahir Aliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the state of Qatar, and Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of Management Board of KOBİA, exchanged views on economic and trade relations between the two countries, cooperation in entrepreneurship, opportunities for expanding business relationships, and the prospects for joint initiatives with the involvement of businesspeople.

As part of the event, B2B meetings took place between Azerbaijani and Qatari businesspeople, where various cooperation opportunities were explored.
