A presentation on entrepreneurship opportunities in Azerbaijan has been held for businessmen from Mersin city, Turkey. 01.08.25

Turkish businessmen were invited to implement joint projects with local SMBs.

Business representatives who are members of the Mersin department of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association of Turkey (MÜSİAD) are currently on a visit to Baku.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the "Baku SMB House" between Turkish businessmen and representatives of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

Samir Humbatov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA, provided information about KOBİA’s activities, the support and services offered to entrepreneurs in our country, and the available incentive tools. Businessmen were invited to invest in Azerbaijan by taking advantage of the favorable business and investment environment created in the country, as well as the potential in the priority sectors of the economy, and to implement joint projects with local SMBs. It was noted that KOBİA is ready to support Turkish businessmen in this area.

During the meeting, a presentation was made on KOBİA’s activities and support mechanisms, businessmen provided information about their activities and asked questions of interest to them.
