A meeting with entrepreneurs has been held on the topic of eco-innovation and eco-industrial parks

Industrial parks and quarters operating in our country create favorable opportunities for entrepreneurs, especially small and medium businesses. Taking advantage of the modern infrastructure and incentives created in industrial parks and quarters, entrepreneurs may start new businesses or expand the existing business activity.

The next meeting, held within the framework of the public-private partnership platform with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), was devoted to the topic “Eco-innovations and eco-industrial parks: current situation and opportunities”. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Azerbaijan Investment Company, Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, Balakhani Industrial Park, as well as other industrial parks and quarters, and their residents.

Director of the Nizami Ganjavi Research Center for Sustainable Development and Green Economy under the Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) Gulnar Mirzayeva made a presentation on “Eco-innovations and eco-industrial parks” and answered the entrepreneurs’ questions on this topic. At the event, the creation of eco-industrial parks, the attraction of new residents to industrial parks and quarters, the incentives applied there, and other issues were discussed, and the entrepreneurs’ proposals were heard.
