A meeting was held with strawberry producers

With the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), a meeting was held with business entities operating in the field of strawberry production in Jalilabad region. Representatives of the Lankaran regional branch of the Ministry of Economy, Jalilabad District Executive Power, Azerbaijan Berry Producers and Exporters Association, German and Turkish companies operating in the relevant field, as well as about 30 business entities operating in the region took part in the meeting organized by SMBDA Lankaran regional coordinator.


During the meeting, foreign experts informed local entrepreneurs about the freeze dry technology, which is an effective tool to prevent losses during the cultivation, harvesting and sale of strawberries, and discussed investment opportunities to establish a strawberry drying plant with this technology in the future.


During the event, the proposals of entrepreneurs were heard, and their questions were answered by representatives of relevant agencies.
