An online session hosted by KOBİA offered over 70 SMB entities laid out comprehensive insights into the 6th grant contest, subsequently  addressing their inquiries.

An awareness raising event was held regarding the 6th grant competition announced for financing initiatives in education, science, research, and support for SMBs. Organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the online session provided detailed information to entrepreneurial entities about the competition and addressed their inquiries.

The event, which saw engagement from more than 70 SMB entities, featured presentations from KOBİA’s Business Services Department staff regarding the conditions of the competition and the evaluation process for projects.

It was emphasized that, pursuant to the guidelines approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 30, 2020, both legal entities and individuals associated with micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises are eligible to enter the competition.

Projects associated with the advancement of SMBs in education, science, research, and support are welcome to apply. Each applicant can submit only one project per competition.

Projects undergo evaluation by an Expert Commission, consisting of representatives from relevant organizations and independent specialists. The maximum funding for each project is set at 20,000 manats.

While reviewing projects, their influence on SMB development, creativity, substantiated conception, feasibility of implementation for practical purposes, and the availability  of adequate logistics and other relevant aspects for the execution of the projects are amongst the  key factors for consideration.

For your reference, the deadline for document submissions for the 6th grant competition will last until 18:00pm , October 23, 2024. Applications can be submitted electronically (info@smb.gov.az) or in physical form directly to the Agency. For more details: https://bit.ly/40pm5y3
