A volunteer blood donation campaign will be organized under the slogan “One Drop of Blood, Life for a Thousand Hopes” dedicated to 27 September – Remembrance Day.

Entrepreneurs and company employees, as well as any person, can voluntarily join the campaign, which will be held on 23-25 September with the joint organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the National Association of Businessmen (ICMA), and with the partnership of the National Centre of Haematology and Transfusion, the Republican Blood Bank, “Marsol Group” and “Melhem International Hospital”.

The blood donation campaign will be organized at the following addresses:

-        In the Lankaran-Astara economic region, on 23 September in the City of Lankaran (Address: Lankaran branch of the Public Legal Entity “Republican Blood Bank”);

-        In the Guba-Khachmaz economic region, on 24 September in the City of Guba (Address: Guba branch of the Public Legal Entity “Republican Blood Bank”);

-        In the Shaki-Zagatala economic region, on 24 September in the City of Shaki (Address: Shaki branch of the Public Legal Entity “Republican Blood Bank”);

-        In the City of Baku, on 25 September, at “Baku SME House”, the Republican Blood Bank and “Melhem International Hospital”.

The blood that will be collected within the framework of the campaign will be used in the treatment of patients with haemophilia and thalassemia, as well as other patients in need of blood.

It should be noted that last year, nearly 800 people, by donating blood as part of the blood donation campaign under the slogan “One Drop of Blood, Life for a Thousand Hopes”, supported the charitable initiative.
