Training held for members of Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan 08.11.19

Training on "Corporate Governance and its role in the effective activity of the company" was organized by Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan.

Representatives of SMB and Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan informed entrepreneurs about the benefits of corporate governance, including transparency and accountability, information disclosure, access to capital markets, corporate finance management, international experience in these areas, and answered their questions.

The Pomegranate Producers and Exporters Association of Azerbaijan is one of 15 public organizations represented in the Public Council under the SMB. The Agency is actively working on strengthening business associations operating in the country, encouraging the creation of new associations, regularly holds meetings and forums with associations, trainings, workshops and other activities to increase the knowledge and skills of companies represented in various associations.
