The number of micro and small business entities granted tax concessions for innovation activities has reached 213.
The Expert Council established under the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) for issuing “Startup” certificates has held its latest meeting. During the session, eight applications submitted by SME entities were reviewed, and it was decided to award “Startup” certificates to three of them. As a result, the total number of SMEs that have received a “Startup” certificate has reached 213.

The “Startup” certificate exempts SME entities from profit or income tax on revenues generated from innovation activities for a period of three years, starting from the date of issuance.
Micro and small business entities with projects in the development stage are eligible to apply to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) for a “Startup” certificate.
