At the event "Training of future entrepreneurs", students were informed about business activities by foreign experts and local entrepreneurs.

The next World Forum on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME World Forum 2023) is currently being held in Baku. The event held within the scope of the Global Entrepreneurship Week with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) aims to explore the best practices in supporting and developing small and medium businesses, expand institutional partnerships, identify new cooperation prospects between stakeholders, promote young entrepreneurship, as well as introduce Azerbaijan's exceptional business environment and perspective investment opportunities to a broad audience.

Within the scope of the forum, which is set to be held on November 13-16, a number of events will be held.

The first event within the framework of the World Forum on Small and Medium Entrepreneurship was held on November 14 at the 21st Century International Education and Innovation Center. Representatives of KOBİA, ICSB and the 21st Century International Education and Innovation Centre, students of 6th and 9th grades, entrepreneurs took part in the event "Training of future entrepreneurs".

The event organized to teach students the basics of entrepreneurship is regarded one of the innovative educational events. As part of the event, including crucial aspects for the training of future business leaders, ICSB experts informed the students about the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, including marketing, pricing and customer handling. At the entrepreneurship stimulation, students traded with imaginary money, and learned about building real business relationships and financial management.

Some 100 students of 21st Century International Education and Innovation Centre, Landau School, Eureka High School, Azerbaijan British College and Baku British School attended the event.

ICSB presented certificates to the students who successfully completed the program at the end of the event.
