SMBDA sets up a library for volunteers


Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Business (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan has set up a library for volunteers.

SMBDA staff donated various books on Economics, Entrepreneurship, Management and other fields to Volunteers Library set up to enhance knowledge and skills, and the worldview of “SMB Volunteers” functioning under the Agency.

For reference, “SMB Volunteers” program is implemented by the Agency in order to promote the involvement of young specialists and students to entrepreneurship to support entrepreneurs, expand knowledge and skills, the worldview of youth, ensure provision of labor skills before they enter professional employment. Currently, about 40 young people volunteer at the “SMB Friend” Network, which operates in the Agency and in 14 cities and regions of the country. In total, over 50 young people have been involved in volunteering at the Agency and the “SMB Friend” Network within the framework of the “SMB Volunteer” Program. Young people who successfully complete their volunteer work at SMBDA gain relevant experience, broaden their career opportunities and successfully enter the job market.
