SMBDA and the Caspian European Club organized an online "B2G" Forum

The Caspian European Club hosted an online "B2G" forum on "Support for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku on April 22. The first online forum discussed the challenges faced by entrepreneurs during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and the state support provided to them.

The online event was attended by top managers of public and private companies, representatives of several international organizations and leading mass media.

At the forum, Natig Hasanov, first Deputy Chairman of SMBDA, informed about the financial support provided to businesses affected by the pandemic, including small and medium businesses, as well as the planned new support mechanisms, and answered entrepreneurs' questions.

In his speech, Telman Aliyev, Chairman and CEO of the "Caspian European Club" highlighted the active position of the government's economic block, which provides maximum support to entrepreneurs during the coronavirus pandemic following the instructions given by Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Note that the monthly "B2G" forums organized by the "Caspian European Club" in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan are a means of dialogue between the public and private sectors, and they create additional opportunities for international business-networking with top managers, and representatives of companies from Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions. "B2G" forums will be held online every week.
