SMB Friend at the service of entrepreneurs operating in Gazakh 09.08.23

The SMB Friend operating in Gazakh Youth House is set to promote the development of business in the district, the establishment of new SMBs, the implementation of investment initiatives of entrepreneurs and protection of their interests.

In Gazakh district, the 6th SMB Friend office of the Gazakh-Tovuz economic region has started operating. Organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Gazakh District Executive Power, the meeting was held with the attendance of entrepreneurs and state bodies operating in the district. As part of the meeting, SMB Friend for Gazakh district was introduced to the business community of the district.

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, emphasized that SMB Friend offices operate in Aghstafa, Gadabay, Shamkir and Tovuz in addition to Gazakh. Overall, SMB Friend offices, including the Gazakh district, cover 45 cities and districts of the country. The chairman of KOBİA provided detailed information to the entrepreneurs about the activities of the Agency and the performance of the SMB Friend. It was underlined that the SMB Friend will provide the required support within the scope of state support mechanisms, including the Agency's services, to potential entrepreneurs and existing businesses seeking to start a business in Gazakh district. SMB Friend will take appropriate measures in forming new business entities in the district, protecting the legal interests of entrepreneurs and setting their investment initiatives into motion. The chairman of KOBİA invited micro, small and medium business entities to actively cooperate with the SMB Friend.

Rajab Babashov, head of Gazakh District Executive Power, stated that SMB Friends will encourage the development of entrepreneurship in the Gazakh district, especially small and medium businesses.

At the event, films about the SMB Friend mechanism, support to micro and small entrepreneurs by KOBİA were displayed, and questions of entrepreneurs were addressed.

The event participants got acquainted with the favourable conditions formed for entrepreneurs in the SMB Friend office located in the Gazakh Youth House.
