Russian-Azerbaijani business meeting held in Kazan

As part of the Russian-Azerbaijani business meeting held in Kazan, opportunities for cooperation in supporting small and medium businesses were discussed.

A Russian-Azerbaijani business meeting was held as part of the visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to the city of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. Officials and businesspersons from both countries attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Orkhan Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), provided information on relations with the relevant organizations of Russia specialized in the field of SMBs, opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan in supporting small and medium businesses, and the Agency's support and services. It was noted that the Agency, whose main activity is to support local SMBs, also helps to establish relations with foreign partners and access to markets. To this end, KOBİA is also capable of coordinating Russian entrepreneurs with local business partners. Exchange of information on potential investment projects, establishment of joint ventures in prospective fields, mutual engagement in exhibitions to establish direct ties between businesspersons, organization of business missions, continuous development of institutional cooperation will be of great importance to expand relations between SMBs of both countries.
