Produce, do not harm nature!

The exhibition and trade fair of micro and small entrepreneurs held in Absheron National Park aims to focus on the principles of achieving ecologically sustainable economic development, "green economy", application of zero waste technologies in the production process, and provision of the potential of rendering services to tourists without harming nature in national parks.

With the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), and the organization of the Association for SMBs and Clubs (KOBSKA), an exhibition and trade fair of micro and small entrepreneurs is held in Absheron National Park with the motto "Produce, do not harm nature!".

Some 20 entrepreneurs will exhibit 100 different products at the fair marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Launched on April 28th, the exhibition-trade fair will focus on the principles of achieving ecologically sustainable economic development, one of the priorities of Azerbaijan's development strategy set by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and promoting ideas such as "green economy", being sensitive to nature, and the application of zero waste technologies throughout the production process.

The event also includes objectives such as strengthening public-private partnership, exhibiting the feasibility of serving tourists in national parks without harming nature, and attracting business entities to the service sector.

At the event dedicated to the opening of the exhibition and trade fair held on April 29, Rauf Hajiyev, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, delivered speeches and shared their views on the event.

It is worth noting that the exhibition-trade fair will be open for visitors until April 30th from 11.00 to 17.00. Every Saturday and Sunday, there will be a bus to Absheron National Park on the route "Koroglu metro - Absheron National Park" (departure at 10:30, return at 16:30). Those interested in visiting the fair can benefit from this service. It is also worth mentioning that horse and carriage ride, Shahdili tour, master classes and other fun events are organized as part of the event.
