In the first half of 2023, KOBİA provided training and consultancy services to over 3,000 SMB entities and people seeking to start a business.

In the first half of 2023, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) conducted 308 trainings for entrepreneurs seeking to start a business, and startups to acquire business knowledge and expand their existing knowledge. The trainings held by the Agency's SMB development centers operating in different cities and regions of the country covered business start-up, project management, financial management, sales, marketing, digital skills, "green economy" and other topics.

During that period, 13 entrepreneurs and managers attended a professional development course in Germany as part of the " Joint Germany-Azerbaijani Program on Professional Development Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan" to gain international experience.

244 entrepreneurs and people seeking to start a business become beneficiaries of the free online training videos uploaded on the video training platform of the agency.

SMB development centers provided consulting services to 729 entrepreneurs and people interested in starting a business on access to sales channels, marketing, business planning, accounting, and legal issues.

Overall, in the first half of 2023, more than 3 thousand SMBs, startups and aspiring entrepreneurs benefited from the support and services provided by the Agency to expand the business knowledge of SMBs.

In the first half of this year, KOBİA supported the development of 148 free business plans in the fields of agriculture, production, service etc.
