Opportunities for joint cooperation between SMBDA and NAYORA discussed 06.02.21

Opportunities for cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA) to promote entrepreneurial thinking among young people, providing various support and services to SMBs, as well as the youth were discussed.

At the online meeting organized on February 5 with the participation of representatives of SMB development centers (SMBDCs) under the Agency, it was noted that the promotion of entrepreneurship among young people and the involvement of young people in business are among the priority areas of the Agency's activity. The work done by SMBDA in this area and support mechanisms were also brought to attention. It was noted that the SMBDCs operating under the Agency provide support and services for the promotion of entrepreneurship among young people, establishment of business and expansion of their existing businesses. Training sessions and seminars held in these centers, support for the development of business plans, consulting, networking, and other services are useful in increasing business awareness of young people and expanding access to financial resources. Young people can apply for SMB development centers for entrepreneurship support and services.

At the online event, it was agreed to regularly organize such events with youth organizations to promote entrepreneurship among young people, to study their ideas and suggestions in this field, to increase the interest of young people in entrepreneurship, to start business, to support creative initiatives and projects, and to study their views on other issues.
