Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 229 dated July 26, 2021, defines the activities and services requiring vaccination of employees against COVID-19 or an immunity certificate.

 

From September 1, 2021, at least 80% of employees of state bodies (institutions), as well as employees of legal entities or individual entrepreneurs (irrespectively of the labor or civil agreement concluded) are required to be vaccinated with the first dose, and from October 1, the second dose against COVID-19 or have a certificate of immunity against COVID-19. The resolution covers about 40 activities and services, regardless of the form of ownership, including all medical, pharmaceutical, scientific, and educational institutions, wholesale and retail trade, public catering, hotel, tourist, and transport services. Individuals, legal entities, and officials are liable for the violation of the requirements of the Resolution according to the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
