The document signed between KOBİA and SMIIC stipulates the promotion of cooperation in the field of trade and investment, the exchange of information and support on the existing opportunities in these directions and various events held.


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the Standards and Metrology Institute for the Islamic Countries (SMIIC) was signed in Istanbul.


The document was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA and Ihsan Ovut, General Secretary of SMIIC. The MoU provides for the promotion of cooperation in the field of trade and investment, the exchange of information and support on existing opportunities in these areas, as well as organization of various events, exhibitions and fairs.

 

As part of the signing ceremony, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA and Ihsan Ovut, General Secretary of SMIIC discussed the issues arising out of the relevant MoU and cooperation opportunities. At the meeting, the chairman of KOBİA conveyed information on the Azerbaijan Halal Business and Tourism Forum, which is set to be held in Baku in 2024, and invited SMIIC to actively participate in the forum activities.
