The number of entrepreneurs who have obtained tax incentives by receiving a “Startup” Certificate has reached 238.
Another meeting of the Expert Council established at the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) for the issuance of “Startup” Certificates has been held. During the meeting, 29 applications submitted by SME entities were reviewed, and a decision was made to grant “Startup” Certificates to 18 applicants.
“Startup” Certificates have been issued for the projects of OpenConnect LLC, a startup investor platform, LULLA LLC, an interactive mobile application with parental control features for children and parents, IMYEN LLC, artificial intelligence–enabled software in the field of medical radiology, Vebtypely LLC, an online platform for developing no-code–based websites, JSM Solutions LLC, a CRM application for businesses, Yolüstü Service LLC, a transportation search and booking system across various routes and destinations, Parkhub LLC, a mobile application for searching and using parking spaces, Bishir LLC, a social networking platform bringing together food enthusiasts, Time Agency LLC, a mobile application for event organization, individual entrepreneur Bayram Suleymanov, a digital platform for searching and ordering agricultural services, individual entrepreneur Jafar Huseynov, a digital education platform; individual entrepreneur Agha Alislamov, an online platform for virtual exhibitions, conferences, and networking events, individual entrepreneur Arif Babayev, an online platform for AI-based automated programming, Sale 365 LLC, a digital platform for employee motivation and business development, Onvey LLC, a platform and mobile application for online commerce and delivery services, Kinobox LLC, an online cinema platform, Işgüzar Group LLC, an online marketplace for various services, and SETM LLC, a hardware–software complex designed for the remote control of pyrotechnic products and explosive devices.
As a result, the total number of SME entities that have received a “Startup” Certificate has reached 238.
The “Startup” Certificate exempts SME entities from profit tax and income tax on revenues obtained from innovative activities for a period of three years starting from the date of issuance of the certificate.
Micro and small business entities whose projects are at the development stage may apply to KOBIA for a “Startup” Certificate.
