Memorandum on support of the transition to the "Green economy"

The document signed between KOBİA and the "Smartnation" Human Development Platform outlines a framework for joint collaboration in the areas of "green economy," "green technologies," "green entrepreneurship," public awareness, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World" and in anticipation of the upcoming COP29 event to be hosted in our country, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and the "Smartnation" Human Development Platform are to collaborate. For this purpose, the Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between KOBİA and the platform. The document was signed by Mr.Orhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBIA, and Mrs.Shabnam Mammadova, the founder of the "Smartnation" Human Development Platform.

The memorandum outlines a framework for collaboration in the areas of "green economy," "green technologies," "green entrepreneurship," public awareness, and environmental sustainability initiatives. This includes the development of the "green SMB" concept, integrating climate change financing into SMB business models, organizing joint events related to the "green value chain," implementing projects to facilitate the green transition of SMEs, and organizing training on "green activities."Additionally, the document further outlines plans to host startup competitions aimed at advancing new technologies for addressing climate change impacts, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and leveraging renewable energy sources, initiatives to conduct educational programs designed to ease the transition to the "green economy."
